Mature heights vary

The perfect blend of tender kales for baby greens, mature plants, and even microgreens. An assortment of greens, blues, reds, and purples; some smooth-leaved, some ruffled.

SOWING:
Sow kale seeds outside in the cool season. Sow seeds as soon as the ground can be worked in the spring or in late summer for a fall/winter crop. Plant seeds 6–10” apart and cover with 1/4 inch of fine soil.

THINNING:

For baby greens: no thinning needed. Begin harvesting when leaves are 3–5”.
For mature plants: thin to 15–18” apart when plants are 4” high. Eat your thinnings!
GERMINATION:
10–15 days depending on soil and weather conditions.

REMARKS:
Grown as microgreens, plant seeds 1/2 inch apart, inside or in the garden. Begin harvest by cutting the tiny plants at the soil when the first true leaves appear (approx. 15 days).
