Candystripe reach the height of their beauty in the autumn when they become one of the dominant flowers in the garden. Given plenty of room, the tall plants branch freely, producing abundant flowers. Heat and drought resistant. Excellent in large beds as well as for cutting.

SOWING
Sow seed outdoors when danger of frost is past or start indoors about 3 weeks earlier. Plant seed in rows 2 feet apart, spacing seed 2 inches in the row. Cover seed with ¼ inch of fine soil well pressed down. Keep soil moist until plants start to grow.

THINNING
When plants are 3 to 4 inches high, thin or transplant to 1 foot apart.

GERMINATION
Germinates in 8 to 15 days depending on soil and weather conditions.

REMARKS
Continues to bloom until frost if flowers are kept picked. Does well in any sunny location. Attracts butterflies and bees.
