Matures in 70 Days from Setting Out Transplants
An heirloom variety from France. Compact plants produce abundant 5–7" creamy white elongated fruits. Snow-white flesh has a delicate texture and is milder, less bitter than purple eggplants. Young fruits do not need peeling.
Sowing:
Start seeds indoors 6–8 weeks before last frost-free date.
Plant seeds ¼" deep in moist soilless mix and water well.
Place tray in a warm area.
Once seedlings appear, provide 10–14 hours of light from direct sun or grow lights.
Thinning:
When seedlings are 3–4" tall, transplant each into 4" pots.
Apply diluted fertilizer when watering.
Continue 10–14 hours of light exposure.
Harden off plants before transplanting into the garden.
Germination:
Germinates in 10–20 days depending on soil temperature and moisture.
