Description:
Lovely purple-blue flowers unfurl like the fiddleheads of spring ferns and are famous for attracting many pollinators, especially bees of all kinds. Lacy foliage on sturdy stems; for sun or partial shade. Drought tolerant once established.

SOWING:
Direct sow seed where it is to grow; does not transplant well. Plant seed 1/4 inch deep after danger of all frost has passed.

THINNING:
Thin to 10 to 12 inches apart.

GERMINATION:
Germinates in 4 to 7 days. Keep evenly moist until first true leaves appear.

REMARKS:
Flowers are lightly fragrant and are edible. Plants will often self-seed one year to the next.
