A well-known free-flowering garden favorite. The sturdy bushes bear their showy flowers in great profusion all summer long. The flowers open about 4 o’clock in the afternoon and all day during cloudy weather.
SOWING…
Plant seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past. Sow seed in rows 12–18 inches apart and cover seed with 1/2 inch of fine soil.
THINNING…
When plants are 2–3 inches high, thin or transplant 12 inches apart in the row or bed.
GERMINATION…
Germinates in 7 to 14 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS…
Four O’Clocks are easily grown and make a colorful low hedge very rapidly.
