Height: 8–10 inches
This variety makes an excellent garnish and is used very extensively. It forms a dense dwarf growth of curled and crumpled leaves of a beautiful rich green color. Easy to grow in the garden or in pots during the winter. Does well in sun or shade.
SOWING:
Sow seed outdoors as early as the ground can be worked. Plant in rows 15 inches apart, spacing seeds ½ inch apart in the row. Cover seed with ¼ inch of fine soil, well pressed down. Keep soil moist until plants start to grow.
THINNING:
When plants are 2 to 3 inches tall, thin to 4 or 5 inches apart.
GERMINATION:
Parsley is very slow to germinate, requiring 3 to 4 weeks depending on soil and weather conditions. Soaking seeds for a few hours before planting can aid in germination.
