Annual — Height: 10 to 15 feet
One of the few flowers of true blue and probably the finest of all Morning Glories. Flowers up to 4 inches across, deep blue with white throat. They blossom profusely for a long season, opening in the morning and facing the sun.
SOWING...
Plant seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past, or start indoors 4 to 6 weeks earlier. Plant seeds 3 inches apart and cover with 1/2 inch of fine soil.
THINNING...
When plants are 2–3 inches high, thin to about 6 inches apart in the row or bed.
GERMINATION...
Germinates in 14 to 21 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS...
Seed has a very hard coat and better results will be obtained if the seed is soaked in lukewarm water for 24 to 48 hours before planting. Morning Glories prefer dry sandy soil. A southern exposure will add more continuous blooming.
