Description:
This popular early variety produces an abundance of dark green straight pods about 4½ inches long. Each pod contains 6 to 8 large peas. This early summer favorite is highly resistant to fusarium wilt.

SOWING:
Plant seed outdoors in March whenever weather allows.

Plant seed 1½ inches apart in rows 2½ feet apart.
Cover seed with 2 inches of soil, well pressed down.
THINNING:
When plants are 2 to 3 inches tall, thin to 3 inches apart.

GERMINATION:
10 to 14 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.

REMARKS:
This variety can be grown without support. Planting in double rows 6 inches apart will provide additional support where necessary. Make repeated plantings for continuous supply all season.
