Named for its hull-less, or naked seeds, Pumpkin Hybrid Pepitas F1 is nutritious and delicious! It is great eaten fresh as well as roasted. Each plant produces a high yield of medium-sized orange fruits with decorative green stripes, each weighing 9 to 12 lbs. Not only is Pumpkin Pepitas F1 a delicious treat, but you can also decorate with them during the fall for an exciting and unique look for your arrangements.

SOWING:
Plant seed outdoors in late spring after the ground is warmed and all danger of frost is past. Make a group of 4 to 6 seeds placed in a ring about 2 inches across. Cover with 1/2 inch of fine soil, well pressed down. Each ring is called a “hill” and hills should be spaced 6 to 10 feet apart each way.

THINNING:
Thin when plants are 2 to 3 inches tall, leaving the 3 strongest plants in each hill.

GERMINATION:
7 to 10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
