Catgrass (wheat)
Triticum aestivum

Description:
Cats and kittens love fresh cat grass, and growing it indoors year-round is easy and fun. They'll enjoy lounging on it and nibbling a little, which can also help them from eating your houseplants. Safe and non-toxic, cat grass can aid in healthy digestion. Take home a packet for your cat or as a gift for the cat lover in your life.

SOWING:
Plant seed indoors any time of year in a pot, flat-bottomed bowl, or tray filled with any good soil mix.
Plant seed thinly and press into the soil (not quite covering the seeds) and water.

Remove plastic after germination, and water whenever soil appears dry.

GERMINATION:
Germinates in 4 to 7 days depending on soil temperature and weather conditions.

REMARKS: When plants are 3 inches high, place it on the floor for your cat’s enjoyment.
