Description:
A free-flowing annual bearing large single flowers of brilliant red. Very attractive in masses and useful in borders.

SOWING:
Sow seed outdoors in early spring after all danger of frost is past. For best results, loosen soil with rake or hoe. Cover seed with 1/8 inch of fine soil, well pressed down. Keep moist until plants begin to grow.

THINNING:
When plants are 2 to 3 inches high, thin or transplant to 8 to 10 inches apart.

GERMINATION:
Germinates in 9 to 14 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.

REMARKS:
Wildflowers require little care. Water only when needed by soaking ground around plants.
