Description:
Sturdy plants produce an abundance of multiple 4 to 5 inch pale yellow to creamy white flowers on branching stems. Makes an ideal border suitable for cutting.
SOWING:
Plant seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past where plants are to remain. Sunflowers do not transplant very well. Plant in rows 24 inches apart and cover seed with 1/2 inch of fine soil, well pressed down.
THINNING:
When plants are 2 to 3 inches high, thin to 18 inches apart in the rows or beds.
GERMINATION:
Germinates in 7 to 10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
REMARKS:
Sunflowers require plenty of sunshine and moderate moisture. Keep blossoms picked for best results.
