Description:
Red Sun is a selection from the popular Evening Sun Mixture. It produces an abundance of 3–4 inch flowers of only the red shades on strongly branched plants. Makes an ideal border suitable for cutting. Sunflowers are among the easiest kinds to grow.

SOWING:
Plant the seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past. Sunflowers do not transplant well. Plant in rows 24 inches apart, spacing seed 3–6 inches in a row. Cover seeds with 1/2 inch of fine soil, well pressed down.

THINNING:
When plants are 2 to 3 inches high, thin 18 inches apart in rows or beds.

GERMINATION:
Germinates in 7 to 10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.

REMARKS:
Sunflowers require plenty of sunshine and moderate moisture. Keep blossoms picked for best results.
