Matures in 70 Days From Setting Out Transplants
Indeterminate Plant Habit – Height: 5–6 feet
Finally, a great taste in an early tomato! The 4-ounce red fruit grows in clusters and has a sugar/acid flavor balance not usually found in early tomatoes. The potato-leaved plants offer excellent disease resistance and perform well in both coastal and dry areas.
SOWING:
Start seeds indoors 4–6 weeks before the last frost date. Cover seeds with ¼ inch of seed starting mix. Keep evenly moist and supply bottom heat to hasten germination (70–75°F). When plants emerge, supply 10–14 hours of light from direct sun or grow lights.
THINNING:
Transplant when plants are 3 inches tall into individual pots or spaced apart in trays. After danger of frost is past, harden off the plants and transplant each into the garden.
GERMINATION:
6–12 days depending on soil temperature and moisture conditions.
