Height: 4 to 6 feet
This beefsteak-type tomato can weigh up to 2 lbs. With a unique red and yellow flesh, the inside is a blend of red, pink, orange, and yellow with a deliciously sweet and somewhat tangy flavor that gets better as it ages on the vine. Lots of pulp and few seeds. Lower acidity than other varieties.
SOWING:
Start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost date. Cover seed with ¼ inch of soilless mix. Provide heat under the seed starting tray to promote germination. Keep evenly moist.
THINNING:
When plants are 4 to 6 inches tall, transplant into 4-inch containers. When the weather warms and soil temperature is at least 65°F, transplant outdoors 18 to 24 inches apart in rows 2 feet apart. Remove lower leaves and bury the plant deep. The hairs on the stem will turn into roots and help support the plant as it grows.
