Description:
The Zinnia is one of the most popular garden flowers today. Large 4–5 inch pink blooms on tall, strong plants are unexcelled for cutting and excellent for background plantings.

SOWING:
Sow seed outdoors as soon as the danger of frost is past or start indoors 4–6 weeks earlier. Plant seed 1/4 inch deep and cover with fine soil.

THINNING:
When plants are 3–6 inches tall, thin or transplant to stand 1½ feet apart in rows 2½ feet apart.

GERMINATION:
Germinates in 5 to 7 days depending on soil and weather conditions.

REMARKS:
One of the easiest kinds to grow from seed. Satisfactory results are obtained by sowing as late as early July.
